Travel Insurance

Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel / America's Vacation Center strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance within 14 days of initial deposit. If you have purchased Travel Insurance, you have now protected your vacation! If you have elected not to purchase Travel Insurance, we strongly recommend you do. Please contact your Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel / America's Vacation Center Personal Vacation Planner if you wish to add Insurance. Please review the cancellation policy of your airline, cruise, hotel, or tour company with your Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel / America's Vacation Center Personal Vacation Planner.


What is travel protection?

Travel protection is a combination of travel insurance and 24-hour emergency assistance services designed to give you peace of mind when you travel by protecting you financially, medically, and more. No matter where you are traveling in the world, you can rest easy knowing that you have travel protection through Allianz Global Assistance. Why do I need travel protection?

Travel protection allows you to travel with a strong sense of security and insures your financial investment (up to the amount of your policy limits) should your trip be cancelled or interrupted for a covered reason. 24-Hour live assistance is invaluable when you find yourself in need of vital information or medical assistance in a country where you don't speak the native tongue. Suggested Best Practices

  • Enter the Departure Date with the date that you leave home and the Return Date with the date that you return home to have insurance coverage for the entire trip, Allianz Travel Insurance usually doesn’t charge extra for additional days.
  • Enter the Total Trip Cost to cover the cruise, flights, hotels, and other travel components that you may have booked on your own.
  • Enter your Dates of Birth rather than your Ages to get an accurate quote and the correct coverage.
  • Persons residing in different states will require separate insurance policies.

Quoted Prices

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are per person, based on double occupancy, for specific stateroom categories and subject to availability at time of booking on selected departure dates. Airfare, transfers, port charges and government fees are additional unless otherwise specified. Rates are subject to change. Offers are capacity controlled and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Some restrictions and blackout periods may apply. Proof of Citizenship Documentation

Proof of citizenship is required for all U.S. passengers leaving the U.S. It is the sole responsibility of all travelers to have in his / her / X possession proper travel documents including, but not limited to: Valid Passports, Certified or Original Birth Certificates plus a matching government issued photo ID, Green cards and/or visas for your destination(s) and re-entry into the United States, and if traveling with children proper authorization. U.S. Citizens can find information at https://travel.state.gov . Non-U.S. citizens must contact the consulates of the countries being visited.

The names and dates of birth on your reservations must appear exactly as it does on the government issued identification document(s).


The passports must be valid for six months after the travel end date.

Booking Documentation

Your Travel Professional will advise you as to whether or not you will receive paper documents or the documents will be electronic (PDF or Email). Most Final travel documents will arrive approximately 2 to 3 weeks prior to the departure date. If you haven't received them within that time, please contact your travel consultant. When you receive your tickets and any and all documents, it is the sole responsibility of the passengers named above to review and verify all information. Notify your Personal Vacation Planner immediately if changes or corrections are required. No refunds will be given if improper documentation results in denial of boarding or travel. Passengers are subject to all cruise line, airline, and other travel company policies. The U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is now handling all security watch-list screenings for U.S.-based airlines as well as for inbound and outbound international routes. You are responsible for supplying all necessary information to the airlines, tour companies, and other travel companies to comply with the new TSA Secure Flight rules. Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel / America's Vacation Center and the America's Vacation Center Independent Affiliates are not responsible for errors or mistakes when booking and reserving your travel. Please verify all information. Cruise Passengers: Embarkation times vary with each cruise, but most cruise lines will let you begin embarkation, or boarding the ship, up to 3 hours before the ship actually sets sail. It's crucial that passengers be onboard no later than one hour before the scheduled sailing time.



Travel Subject to Change

All Travel is subject to availability, itinerary changes, work stoppages, schedule changes, or any other travel change. Please reconfirm all airline flights 24 hours prior to departure. The airline industry is constantly changing flights they operate on a daily basis. Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel / America's Vacation Center has no control over this or any other situation and is not responsible for changes, delays, or cancellations of flights, cars, hotels, cruises, etc. Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel / America's Vacation Center acts solely as the sales agent for travel suppliers and is not liable for the actions or inactions of such suppliers.



Supplemental Charges Opt-In Agreement

By purchasing travel products, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the travel supplier, which can be found on their website. Additionally, you are agreeing to Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel's terms and conditions which can be found at avoyatravel.com.


Carrier reserves the right to impose a supplemental charge relating to unanticipated occurrences including, but not limited to, increases in the price of fuel. Any such supplement charges may apply, at Carrier's sole discretion, to both existing and new bookings (regardless of whether such bookings have been paid in full).


The trip you are purchasing may be subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. I acknowledge that I may be charged additional sums by an Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel Independent Affiliate to offset increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof. By purchasing this trip, I hereby consent to any post-purchase price increases and authorize the Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel Independent Affiliate to charge me for such additional amounts.


Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel / America's Vacation Center and Independent Affiliates reserve the right to assess for any cancellation, a fee in addition to any and all fees that the tour operator/cruise line may impose. For your security, Funscape Travel and / or Avoya Travel / America's Vacation Center and AVC Independent Affiliates do not accept check or cash payments. All payments should be made by credit card, or wire transfer directly to the cruise or vacation supplier.



Flights

We recommend planning and booking optional flights as soon as possible.


Enjoy complete flexibility with your choice of flights on your preferred airlines.


Cruise lines require guests to be checked in and onboard no later than two hours prior to the scheduled sailing time. Guests arriving late will not be permitted to sail.


Suggested Best Practices

  • Book a flight that arrives more than six hours prior to the scheduled cruise departure time.
  • It is strongly advised that you arrive one day prior to the scheduled cruise departure date.
  • Book a flight with domestic flight connection times more than one hour in duration.
  • Book a flight with international flight connection times more than two hours in duration.
  • Arrive at the airport more than two hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
  • Arrive at the cruise ship terminal more than four hours prior to the scheduled cruise departure time.
  • Book a return flight that departs more than six hours after the scheduled cruise arrival time.

Please be advised of the following information . . .

  • Passenger name must match passport exactly or risk denied boarding - no changes allowed.
  • All exchanges and cancellations must be completed prior to original scheduled flight date, fees and penalties apply.

  • Tickets may be non refundable / non changeable.
  • See airline website to verify mileage and baggage allowance.
  • Most tickets may not be upgraded using miles.

Ground Transportation / Transfers

Our ground transportation and expedited check-in programs include transfer services from the airport to your cruise ship and back, private limousines, luggage valet, fast region-specific check-ins, and convenient bus routes.


Guests can add ground transportation by contacting their Travel Advisor up to seven days before travel.



Gratuities

The automatic service gratuity is per person, per day for guests in all accommodations and is applied to each guest’s onboard account on a daily basis.


Pre-paid gratuities can be added to an individual reservation at any time outside of seven days of the sail date.

Tethering or “Double Docking”

During this time, your view from your stateroom may temporarily be obscured by a neighboring ship.



Water Levels “High or Low Water”

Plans may include alternative docking locations, modified shore excursions as well as ship swaps, if necessary.



Cancellation Policy

It is the sole responsibility of the passengers named to review and verify the Cancellation Policy published on the suppliers (cruise line, tour operator, airline, hotel) website.
